On Sunday 16 August I joined the vigil for Professor Arday in London’s Trafalgar Square in the summer’s heat, packed tight with thousands of protestors marking their respect, holding bunches of flowers aloft, and placards reading, ‘Rest in Power Professor Jason Arday.
