Recent Incidents Highlight Chinese Transnational Repression in Taiwan

A number of recent incidents illustrate new tactics in China’s playbook for transnational repression. For one, a comedy club in Taipei–known as Comedy Club or Comedy Plus +--had its entrance smeared with a mixture of feces and white paint. It is thought that this occurred due to performances by comedian Huang Yi-hao.
